Announcing First Annual Santa Fe Labor Film Festival

Santa Fe Labor Film Festival partners with global organization to bring major, independent, and local motion pictures and events to Santa Fe this May Day weekend

Kicking off with a May 1 Friday night gala event and screening of Lionsgate major motion picture, Cesar Chavez, 16 New Mexico labor and film industry organizations have partnered to bring a world class labor film festival to Santa Fe.

The festival has partnered with the Global Labor Film Festival to acquire a number of cutting edge films. Included films boast locally produced works as well as award winning pieces from filmmakers across the country and the globe. In addition to screening the films, the festival offers a chance Saturday to screen test your beloved personal vehicle for NM film productions, and aSunday workshop on how to join thefilm workers union and launch a professional career in New Mexico’s film industry.

All events will take place at the Center for Progress and Justice at 1420 Cerrillos Road in Santa Fe. Admission is all on a donate-what-you-wish basis.
